Epiphone Dot

Michael Larson had recently been over at a conference to lead worship and had let me use his Rickenbacker Fireglo for some sessions. I really enjoyed the dynamics of leading on an electric, I had only used acoustic previously. I started playing my Jag more when leading in meetings. It worked well, but I was looking for something with a bit more mellow and with more sustain - something with humbuckers.

While we were working through San Diego, we found a guitar shop and went in to have a look. I tried a couple of guitars, and then this Dot - and it hit the spot! We came home with a sun tan and new guitar! My kind of holiday.
